New Haven Data

Data for New Haven is shown in Graph 4.  Again, there appears to be a steady decline in the percentage of births to teen mothers in New Haven over the five year period.  Again, the effect is even more pronounced.  In this case, over the five year period, births to teen mothers dropped by almost 5% from 18.26% to 13.65%.  But again, based on the fact that current percentages are about double that of the statewide average (13.65% relative to 6.96%), New Haven is still of need for resources to reduce teen pregnancies and adolescent childbearing.
