Graphs 2 shows data on births to residents of New Britain.  Here, as in Hartford, births to teen mothers account for a much larger percentage of resident births, relative to the state as a whole.  Over this five year period there has been about a 2% drop in the percentage of teen mothers, but even at its lowest (15.99%), New Britain remains at more than twice the statewide average (6.96%) and clearly is in need of teen pregnancy prevention interventions.
