Graph 8 depicts data for Meriden.  With the exception of one year, 2003, where the percentage of births to teens dipped below 10% (9.85%), for most years in Meriden, the percentage of births to teen mothers is slightly less than double that of the statewide average.  This is a community in need of resources to prevent teen pregnancy and adolescent childbearing.
